Mary L. (Edwards) Bundy, 92, of Worthington, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at QLS Sugarcreek.  Born November 24, 1932 on Thanksgiving Day in Worthington, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Orman B. And Bessie H. Edwards.  She graduated from Worthington-West Franklin High School in 1950 and worked briefly at the 5 & 10 in Kittanning prior to her marriage.  Mary devoted her married life to being a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She married Earl C. Bundy, Jr. on May 11, 1956 at Franklin Union Baptist Church in Worthington where she remained a life-long member and her faith in God was steadfast and strong.  Mary was active with church choir, Helping Hands, Bible school and Challengers Class and helped whenever needed with church lunches and other projects.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society, a long-time volunteer at ACMH Hospital and a long-time poll worker for Worthington Boro, and a member of the Wednesday neighborhood bowling league.  Mary enjoyed beach vacations with her children and grandchildren and traveled extensively with her husband and his siblings on cruises and road trips across the United States.  Mary and Earl's travels also took them out of the country to Spain and Austria.  Time spent with her family was her favorite past-time.  Lunch at their home on Sunday after church was a weekly treat.  

Survivors include her son, Earl C. Bundy III (Pam); daughters, Pamela Gladysiewski (Todd) and Valerie Mechling (Keith); grandchildren, Travis Simmons (Bethany), Tristin Shay (Dennis), Joshua Bundy (Leeanne), Brittany Pore (David), Nina Gladysiewski (Ben Young), Alex Gladysiewski (Kristen), Kathryn Gladysiewski (Eric Daubenspeck), Mya Gladysiewski, Kezia Mechling (Jay Belson), Leann Mechling and Kayla Morris (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Alice and Henry Simmons, Scarlett Wark, Hudson, Sullivan and Lincoln Bundy, McKenna Delaney, Turner and Beckett Pore, Lexis Pennington and Nova and Moxie Morris; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; siblings, Fred Edwards, Hazel McMillen and Helen Hufhand along with an infant brother and sister.  She was also preceded in death by her loving and devoted daughter, Tierney Simmons.  

The family would like to thank the staff at the ACMH Hospital ER and 3C, Armstrong Surgical Associates, the staff of Rivercliff Annex in Kittanning, Quality Life Services in Worthington and caregivers Kayla and Holly, and 3 Rivers Hospice for the wonderful care provided to Mary in her final years.  

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Franklin Union Baptist Church, 106 Century Hill Lane, Worthington, Pa. with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Franklin Union Baptist Church Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington.
