Mary K. McKee, 87, of Kittanning, passed away at ACMH on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. Born May 2, 1936 in Fair Township, she was born to Michael V. Hoffman and Aline A. (Hickey) Hoffman. She was married to George R. (Pete) McKee, who died on July 8, 1984. She is survived by a son, Ricky D. McKee (Dorie), of Ford City, Pa.; two daughters, Robin A. Fair (Donald), of Chicora and Sherry Lynn Jack (Thomas), of West Kittanning; two granddaughters, Jen Jones (Jonsey), of Rimersburg and Kristy McKee, of Ford City, Pa.; two grandsons, Michael McKee, of Etna, Pa. and Donald Fair, of Chicora; and great-granddaughters, Scarlett and Saige Jones, of Rimersburg.
Mary worked at KFC in West Kittanning for 14 years. She belonged to the Kittanning Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star as well as the Catholic Daughters of America and Sarah A. Crawford Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Chicora Moose Lodge. She graduated from Butler County Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management in 1997. Mary was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning. She loved music, especially Elvis, collecting dolls, spending time with family and friends, shopping and she loved traveling. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by 3 brothers Bill, Larry, and Danny Hoffman and her son-in-law, Thomas.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with The Reverend Juanito G. Lozano officiating. Interment will be in St. Eusebius Cemetery, East Brady, Pa.
