Mary Jo (Weaver) Ward

Mary Jo (Weaver) Ward, 75, of Kittanning, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at ACMH Hospital.

She was born June 20, 1950, in Kittanning, to the late Arnold and Winifred (Hockenberry) Weaver.

Mary Jo was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler and formerly a member of the Republican Women. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her pets and reading.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Allen Ward; brother, Ed (Karen) Weaver, of Ford Cliff; three sisters: Kathy (Chamie) Hooks, of Kittanning, Carol (Michael) Page, of Worthington and Janice Foradori, of Kittanning; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Barry Weaver; and sister Jackie Wonderling.

A private viewing and funeral service was held for Mary Jo at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, with Pastor Joel Benson of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mary Jo's honor to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, PO Box 838 Kittanning, PA 16201.
