Mary "Mitzie" Shultz, 96, of Kittanning Hollow Road, passed away peacefully, in the presence of her daughter, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at her home. Mitzie was born in East Brady, on July 2, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Curtis Weibel. 

She attended Pine Run School and was a 1949 graduate of East Brady High School. Her employment involved many different jobs during her lifetime.

She was a longtime, active member of St. Paul's Community Church in Chicora, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was involved in many organizations.

Mitzie married her husband, Harry E. Shultz on October 9, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1993. Left behind to cherish Mitzie's memory includes her daughter, Janet Brink of Kittanning Hollow, 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons, as well as a sister, June (Dean) Hiles of Karns City.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son David; 2 daughters Susan and Diane (Tom) Baker; 2 grandsons Sam Shultz and Billy Brink; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

A memorial service celebrating Mary "Mitzie" Schultz, who died Thursday, May 21, 2026, will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Community Church, 2167 State Route 268, Chicora, PA with Rev. Frank Sapp, Jr. and Rev. Paul Debacco officiating.
