Matthew Stefan Komisarek

Matthew Stefan Komisarek, 59, of Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025 at Butler Memorial Hospital.  He was born June 10, 1966, the son of George Daniel and Sherry (Hutcheson) Komisarek.  He was a member of Evangel Heights Church and also attended World Harvest Church and Victory Community Church.  Matthew was always cooking, as he was a chef, manager, line cook, prep. cook and was into contract catering and truck deliveries.  He often made up his own recipes.  He also worked in a warehouse.  He loved fishing and golfing.  He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his wife, Amy Komisarek; mother, Sherry Komisarek; and brother, Nathan Komisarek.  He was preceded in death by his father, George Daniel Komisarek.  

Friends will be received on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Evangel Heights Church, 120 Beale Rd., Sarver, PA 16055 with Pastor Rob Bennett and Rev. Richard Molgaard co-officiating.  Interment will be in St. James Cemetery in St. James, Missouri.
