Melda Faye (Burns) Helfferich

Melda Faye (Burns) Helfferich, 73, of Kittanning, died on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital.  She was born October 19, 1950 in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Charles and LaRue Burns, and was a lifelong resident of the community.  She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, cooking, spending time with Dee and with family, and she loved her dog, biscuit.  She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her daughter, Amanda Hileman, of Kittanning; son, Turney Walker, of Butler; and grandchildren, Morgan Walker, of Kittanning, Hayley Walker, of Kittanning, Gage Willis, of Ford City and Cole Walker, of Ford City.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister.  Private arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
