Merna E. (Moore) Harmon, 85, of Kittanning, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at ACMH Hospital.  A lifelong resident of the community, she was born May 31, 1939 in Kittanning, the daughter of the late Robert Moore, Sr. and Carrie (Slagle) Moore.  Merna was a homemaker and also worked at the YMCA for 60 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kittanning.  She enjoyed baking, crafting and painting.  She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her husband, Nathan W. Harmon, Sr., of Kittanning; sons, Nathan W. Harmon, Jr., of Kittanning and James A. Harmon, of Fort Meyers, Fl.; daughter; Marcia Harmon, of Kittanning; daughter, Lisa (Harmon) Geyer and son-in-law, Randall Geyer, of Kittanning; brother, John O. (Elena) Moore, of Meadville; sister, Fran (Moore) Prazenica, of Ford City; brother, Owen Moore, of Butler; sister, Regis (Moore) Wermter, of NuMine; grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany Ann) Lester, Zachary Geyer, Emily (Casey) Wolsonovich, Tyler Harmon and Zoe Geyer; great-grandchildren, Lucas Lester, Brayden Lester, Beckett Lester and Collin Wolsonovich; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Merna was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law; brother, Robert E. Moore, Jr.; daughter, Terri S. Harmon; and brother-in-law, Joe Prazenica.  A memorial service will be held at a later date with Pastor Jeff Smith of First Baptist Church officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
