Michael Alan Daniel

Michael Alan Daniel, 72, of Vandergrift, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side.  He was born June 9, 1952 in Kittanning, the son of Margaret R. (Ditmole) and John V. Daniel, and resided in West Virginia for 28 years and Kittanning for 45 years.  He worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a computer operator.  Michael loved playing on his computer and when we wasn't doing that, he was either reading or napping.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce A. (Boyer) Daniel, of Vandergrift; daughter, Rachel M. Daniel, of Vandergrift; grandchildren, Haley M. Daniel, Micheal K. Shobe, James L. Daniel and William "Austin" Daniel, all of Vandergrift; great-grandsons, Tyler A. Snoots and Dean A. Daniel, both of Vandergrift; brother, John V. Daniel, Sr., of Kittanning; sister, Rosemary (Daniel) Potts, of New Kensington; and 3 nephews.  In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Cowan.  Private arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
