Michael A. Minarcin, 61, of Kittanning, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, in Pittsburgh, PA at AGH. He was born December 5, 1963, in Kittanning, PA, the son of Marcella (Gowetski) and Arthur Minarcin and brother of Alice Rizzo (Rick Slease), Cindy (David) Lorenz, and Tim (Debra) Minarcin. He is the father of Megan Minarcin, Chris Minarcin, and Kenzie Minarcin. He graduated from Kittanning High School in 1982 and from the New Castle School of Trades in 1983. Michael Minarcin retired recently from Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission after 30+ years of service and was a returning resident of the Kittanning area and a proud member of the St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. His greatest joy came from spending time at church, with his family and friends, and watching the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 101 West High St., Kittanning, PA 16201 with The Very Reverend Eric J. Dinga, V.F. as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Kittanning.
