Mona Grace (Cravener) Murtland

     Mona Grace (Cravener) Murtland, 85, of Kittanning, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Kittanning Care Center.  Born June 16, 1936 in Kittanning, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Eva (Myers) Cravener, and was a lifelong resident of the community.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Mona leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Dan Murtland, of Kittanning; daughters, Kriss Cravener, of Kittanning, and Karen Leard, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Holly Murtland, Ashley (Leard) Cox, Logan Leard, Michael Toy, and Harley and Jesse Cravener; and 2 great-grandchildren, Brayden Wright and Dani Stubbs.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Murtland; son, Terry Murtland; and daughter-in-law, Ronda Murtland.  Funeral services will be privately held by the family with arrangements under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.  Interment will be in Center Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
