Nicholas Dale Bowser, 35, of Slippery Rock, Pa. died on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born February 18, 1989 in Butler Memorial Hospital to Herbert and Lynnette (Bouch) Bowser. He attended Grove City Alliance Church. Nick lived at Merakey Home and was very well cared for. He loved camping, swimming, bowling, animals, amusement parks, riding the motorcycle with his dad and most of all being with his family.
He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory: his parents, Herbert J. and Lynnette Y. Bowser, of Slippery Rock, Pa.; sister, Rachel (Dustin) Cogley, of Grove City, Pa.; nephew, Elijah Cogley, niece, Sydney Cogley, and nephew, Mason Cogley, all of Grove City, Pa.; grandfather, Herbert C. Bowser, of Worthington, Pa.; aunts and uncles, Betty and Leo Zimmell, Judy and Mark Turney, and Randy and Mandy Bouch; and cousins, Julie, Jamie, Doug and Lindy. Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Margaret Bouch; and paternal grandmother, Ruth A. R. Bowser.
The family would like thank the staff at the Merakey home and school for their excellent care.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, Pa. Additional visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 28, from noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Renicks of Grove City Alliance Church officiating. Interment will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
