Nicholas Colin Sanders, 36, of Ford City, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at home. He was born May 26, 1988, in Kittanning, to Kevin and Deborah (Freeman) Sanders. He worked as a journeyman lineman for IBEW and previously attended California University of Pennsylvania. Nicholas loved his cat and all animals, F1 Racing, hunting and fishing. He liked helping people and was always willing to lend a hand.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Deborah Sanders, of Kittanning; brother, Christopher (Becky) Sanders, of Saxonburg; loving fiancée, Devyn Julie Opalka, of Ford City; niece and nephew, Alex and Ellie Sanders, of Saxonburg; special uncle, Mike (Landa) Freeman, of McGrann; uncle, Randy (Jamie) Freeman, of Worthington; and several cousins and friends. Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ron and Sandy Freeman and Jack and Rose Sanders.
Services for Nicholas are private and under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
