Norma Kathryn Baum

     Norma Kathryn Baum, 80, of Kittanning, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, Pa.  She was born July 5, 1940, a daughter of the late Rev. Herman W. and Marie A. (Bish) Mohney and was a lifelong resident of the community.  She was a beloved mother and homemaker.  Norma attended First Baptist Church in Ford City.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

     Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Brian) Bellas; daughter, Robin Baum; son, Donald Baum; daughter, Heather (Scott) Claypool; 10 truly loved grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 7 brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Baum; brothers, Herman Mohney, Edison Mohney, and infant brother, Nathan Mohney; and sisters, Tammy Long and Gloria Wynkoop. 

     Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, PA.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tues., March 23, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tim Kutch officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.  Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help offset expenses.  Guests attending the visitation and services for Norma are respectfully asked to wear a mask or face covering and follow all CDC/Pa Health Department health and safety protocols.
