Patricia L. Cowan

Patricia L. Cowan, 88, of Kittanning, passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 at Armstrong Rehab. & Nursing Facility.  She was born April 5, 1935 to the late Ralph and Ruby Lucas.  She married George F. Cowan in 1953.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, serving as worthy matron and also as an officer for many years.  She was a mother advisor in the Order of Rainbow Girls for a number of years.  She received the International Grand Cross of Colors for her many years served.  Patricia liked hunting and fishing with her husband and boys, reading, crocheting, knitting and playing the piano.  

She is survived by her sons, D' Arcy Lee Cowan and Adam Lee (Mishele) Cowan; sister, Karen McClain; grandchildren, Alison Beth, Dylan James, Jodie and Penny; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Christopher, Shana, Aaron, and Renae; great-great-grandchildren, Natalie, Kyle, Remington, Brennan, Devayiah, Deo, Harmony, Anthony and Conner; and niece, Noelle Simmons.  In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, George; granddaughter, Bonnie Loughrey; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Cowan.  

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa.  Interment is private.
