Paul W. Long, Jr.

Paul W. Long, Jr., 76, of Worthington, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at home. He was born February 27, 1945 in Kittanning to the late Paul and Dolly (Hartman) Long Sr. 

He was a lifelong resident of the area and retired after 35 years from Service Star in East Butler. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves. Paul was a member of the Furnace Run Chapel and the American Legion Post 0828 in Worthington. He enjoyed golf, hunting, softball and camping with his grandchildren. 

Paul is survived by his wife Linda L. (Peat) Long of Worthington; daughter Donna Long and her fiancé Doug Goldstrohm of Worthington; daughter Bobbi Brison and her husband Gillis Jr. of Sagamore; son Edwin Long and his wife Nicole of Worthington; grandchildren Kendra Fennell, Brent (Trista) Fennell, Jackie Brison, Gillis Brison III and wife Shayna; Joey Long and Lexi Long; great grandchildren Kyra, Mylah, Sophia, Dyllen, Tatum, Kinzley, Gillis IV, and Natalee; side kick Dumus Walker Long; brother Larry Long of Kittanning; sisters Cathy Nuepert of Worthington, Debbie Stouffer of Kittanning, and Lori Long of Geneva, OH; several nieces, nephews and in-laws. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Sandy (Long) Damore; brothers Harold Eugene Long, Lenny Long, and Fred Long; several in-laws and nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service for Paul will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington.
