Paula Mae (Cousins) Zell

Paula Mae (Cousins) Zell, 69, of Kittanning, died on Friday, May 12, 2023 at her home.  She was born on May 24, 1953 in Kittanning, daughter of the late John and Clara (Umbaugh) Cousins, and was a lifelong resident of the community.  Though Paula was disabled, she worked in daycare and as a nursing aide. She enjoyed crafts, playing games on her tablet, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Left behind to forever cherish her memory includes her husband, Samuel Zell, of Ford City; daughters, Bethann (Zellefrow) Hutchison and husband, Dan, of Kittanning and Heather (Zellefrow) Dinger and husband, Caleb, of Ford City; sister, Linda Crissman, of Kittanning; sister, Cindy Shankle, of Kittanning; brother, Johnny Cousins, of Ford City; sister, Candy Brown, of Ford City; grandchildren: Victoria Zellefrow, of Louisiana, Boe Johns, of Cadogan, Gabriel Johns, of New Bethlehem, Dani Hutchison, of Cadogan, Ashton Jones, of Ford City, Jeffrey Jones, of Pittsburgh, Jeremiah Hughes, of Ford City, and Lylie McAninch, of Ford City; step-children: Patty (Herb) John, of Adrian, Betty Taylor, of Ford City, Samuel Zell (Deb), of Ford City, Shirley (Bill) Kline, of Ford City and Brian Zell, of Ford City; numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; great-granddaughters, Calli and Janay Zellefrow, both of Louisiana; and great-grandson, Kaleb Zellefrow, of Louisiana.  In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Cousins; her granddaughter, Angel Johns; and step-daughters, Edna Titus and Lisa Pratt. 

Friends will be received on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.  Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Sue Foster officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.  Interment will be in Croyle Cemeter in Adrian, Pa.
