Peggy L. (Hutchison) Smith

Peggy L. (Hutchison) Smith, 68, of East Brady, Brady's Bend Township, passed away Thursday April 11, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born September 26, 1955, a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Naomi (Anthony) Hutchison.

She was a homemaker. Peg enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Peggy loved riding her horse Dandy with friends, going to Mexico, Las Vegas and gambling. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. 

Peggy is survived by her husband of 50 years, whom she married May 11, 1973, Carl R. Smith, of East Brady; son, John W. (Brenda) Irvine, of Templeton; daughter, Jenny M. (Casey) Bowser, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Tate, MacKenzie, Krista, Levi, Devin, Carly, Kaden, and Kaylee.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Carl Smith Jr. ; and daughter Holly Wood Tirpak.

Friends will be received on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2024 in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jerry Johns officiating. Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00. Interment is in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Adrian.
