Rachel H. Wolfe (Rachel H. Corbett), 71, of East Franklin, passed away suddenly on the evening of Saturday, August 26, 2023 surrounded by family.
Rachel was born on March 29, 1952 to parents Luke Corbett Sr. and Pauline (Bish) Corbett. She was raised in Spaces Corners, Rayburn, PA, with her brothers and sisters.
Rachel was among Kittanning High School’s graduating class of 1970. She spent a majority of her adult life as a dedicated wife to her husband, Victor C. Wolfe, who at the time was an active-duty member of the United States Marine Corps. She additionally worked as an in-home health care aide.
Rachel and Victor wed on June 10, 1971, and recently celebrated their fifty-second anniversary.
Among many things, Rachel was known for her love of Elvis Presley, playing the slots, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. She also had the greenest thumb on her side of the Allegheny. However, she was most known for her devotion to her family. Her love and generosity knew no bounds and there is not a thing in this universe that would stop her from making sure her family felt it. She will be deeply missed by them all, especially her Shitzu, Stanley, and cat, Remy.
In addition to her parents, Rachel was predeceased by her sisters Betty Lockhart and Elaine Toy, her brothers, Fred, Bill and Jim Corbett, her brother-in-law, Robert Shields, and various nieces and nephews.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Victor C. Wolfe, daughters Shelly Boback (Nathan Boback), Amy Wolfe (Scott Conner), and twin sister, Sandy Shields. Additional survivors include her grandchildren Samantha Boback, Ian Boback and Noah Boback, along with many nieces, nephews and various family members.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 South McKean St., Kittanning, PA from 11:00am until time of services at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Pine Creek Baptist Cemtery.
