Randall N. “Randy” Walker, 87, of Kittanning, died on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in ACMH Hospital. He was born in Templeton, Pa., on Jan. 11, 1934, to the late Frank and Gertrude (Fox) Walker. Randy retired from Eljer Plumbingware, Ford City, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Rayburn Township Volunteer Fire Dept. for more than 50 years. Randy enjoyed hanging out and playing the spoons and singing at the fire hall with his buddies, especially his best friend, Bud Cogley. He also enjoyed traveling, yard sales and going out to eat. Most of all, Randy, was a devoted family man who loved his kids and grandchildren and most of all, the love of his life, Shirley.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife of 63 years, Shirley (Titus) Walker; children: Randall A. Walker, Sharon L. Kilgore, Timothy N. Walker and companion, Debbie Black, Elizabeth Walker and Jack (Tracy) Walker; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lena (Russell) Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Robert L. Walker; brothers: Harold, Clayton and Frank; and sisters: Eleanor, Charmaine and Lauraine.
Family and friends of Randy Walker, will be received on Friday, April 23, 2021, in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 4 p.m. with Pastor Sam Piper officiating. For those attending the viewing and services all CDC guidelines of masks and social distancing will be followed. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
