Rev. Roy D. Warren, Jr., 74, of Worthington was received in the arms of Jesus on Friday, March 7, 2025 in his home.  Roy was born in Highland Park, Michigan, to the late Roy and Virginia Warren.  He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Cindy.  Roy is survived by his daughter, Kara (Jason) Frantz, his son, Joel Warren, grandchildren Lilia, Andrew, and Benjamin, his sister, Barb (Gary) Schiller, and his sister-in-law, Kathi Piepenbrok, as well as other friends and family.  Roy was a pastor for 43 years, most recently with Christ Our Rock Bible Church, a servant of God faithfully fulfilling his calling to draw people to the heart of God, preaching the Word, discipling believers, and caring for those in need.  After retiring in May, Roy was blessed to attend Orchard Hill Church in Butler, and to continue to minister at two local nursing homes.  He enjoyed stained glass, camping, kayaking, and spending time with his grandchildren, who meant the world to him. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, with Pastor Brady Randall officiating.  Interment is private.
