Richard Paul Swast

Richard Paul Swast, 67, of Kittanning, died on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Kittanning.  He was born November 11, 1957 in Kittanning, the son of Paul R. Swast and Shirley Louise (McAfoose) Swast.  Richard was a janitor for Armstrong School District.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kittanning and a volunteer fireman for Rayburn Township VFD.  He is survived by his mother and father, Shirley and Paul Swast, of Kittanning.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Pearle McAfoose, and paternal grandparents, Esther and Mike Swast.  Friends will be received on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 334 Arch St., Kittanning, Pa. with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, Pa.
