Robert Eugene Adams Sr., 88, of Kittanning, died on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.  He was born September 9, 1936 in Kittanning, the son of the late Robert Franklin and Pauline Emma (Crytzer) Adams, and he was a lifelong resident of the community.  Prior to retirement, he was a machinist at Allegheny Ludlum in West Leechburg, Pa.  He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.  Robert enjoyed camping, antique restoration, retiree's luncheon at King's and meeting friends for coffee and BS'ing at King's.  Left behind to forever cherish his memory includes his sons, Robert Eugene Adams Jr. and fiance, Amanda, of Ford City and Jeffrey A. Adams and wife, Denise, of Kittanning; daughter, Jackie Erdley and husband, Scott, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Justin Erdley and wife, Shauna, of Cowansville, Jessica Stitt and husband, Dylan, of Kittanning, Colton Adams and companion, Bri, of Ford City, Shelby Adams, of Elderton and Logan Adams, and wife, Kristy, of Kittanning; and great-grandchildren, Deven Erdley, MadeLyn Erdley, Caleb Erdley, Ethan Stitt, Eli Stitt and Nolan Adams.  In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Ardell Adams; and brothers, Norman (Jocko) Adams and William (Herk) Adams.

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, at the funeral home with Pastor Theresa Peace officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.
