Robert John Easley, 82, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on May 6, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Born on February 22, 1943, to the late Harold J. Easley and Jennie Czapor Easley, he was a lifelong resident of Kittanning.

As a teenager, he became a radio disc jockey, “Rockin’ Rab”, at WACB Radio Station, where he later worked in advertising sales. After interviewing State Senator Albert Pechan, for WACB's newsletter, Bob was invited to serve as the senator’s aide. That experience launched a distinguished career in public service. Following his retirement from public office, he ran his own business, taking on contracting projects and administrative work, including for the BPO Elks Lodge 203. A proud and active member of the Elks, he was deeply committed to his community. He was also a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 1011 in Kittanning.
Bob was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan who enjoyed spending winters in South Florida, where he found joy in socializing with friends, listening to audiobooks, and working on trivia and word puzzles with his wife.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Virginia Simpson Easley, of Kittanning and Margate, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jack Zatorski, of Florida; son Philip Easley, of Maryland; and four cherished grandchildren: Emma Zatorski, Grace Zatorski, Ernest Easley, and Mabel Estelle Easley.
