Robert George Everhart, 70, of Kittanning, passed away Saturday June 6, 2026 at home. He was born June 28, 1955 in Kittanning to the late Robert L. and Marie (McVay) Everhart.

Robert got his start working with Lee Echnoz operating heavy equipment, he then moved on to Hawks Contracting, and Castle Gas building locations. He retired from Operating Engineers Local # 66  where he was a dozer operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved a good conversation.

Robert is survived by his wife Loraine Joy Everhart of Kittanning; daughter Robbi (Shawn) Young of Ford City; son Wesley Everhart of Kittanning; brother Eugene (Brenda) Everhart of Kittanning; brother Donald Everhart of Ford City; grandson Dalton Young of Ford City; granddaughter Lexie Young of Ford City; soon to be grandson-in-law David Reesman of Ford City.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert L. and Marie Everhart; grandparents Charles and Leona Everhart and George and Ruth McVay.

Friends will be received on Wednesday June 10, 2026 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. The family will hold a private service.
