Robert Lewis Grantz

Robert Lewis Grantz Sr., 76, of Kittanning, passed away Saturday January 1, 2022 at home. He was born April 20, 1945 in Bethel Township to the late Roy B. and Hazel (Wilson) Grantz. He worked as a truck driver and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Robert loved to farm and hunt. 

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly (David) Jenkins of Beaufort, SC; daughter Lorri (Amanda) Grantz of Eubank, KY; son Robert “Butch” (Tammy) Grantz of Kittanning; daughter Jessica (Wade) Weigel of Cowansville; step son Jeffrey Schotting of Kittanning; step son Steve (Melanie) Schotting of Cadogan; sister Rose (Ron) Minesky of Vandergrift; brother Samuel (Paulette) Grantz of Ford City; sister Evelyn (Edward) Stoughton of Apollo; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; 45 nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents Roy and Hazel Grantz he was preceded in death by his wife Tammy Kay Grantz; daughter Terri Leigh Grantz-Christy; brother Peter Allen Grantz; sister Martha JO Kennedy; brother Roy B. Grantz Jr. 

Friends will be received on Thursday January 6, 2022 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 8, 2022 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with additional visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service with Pastor Don Toy officiating. Interment is in Forks Zion Cemetery. The family requests that all guests in attendance wear masks.
