Robert David Johnston

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Johnston announces his passing at home, peacefully due to natural causes on April 28, 2025. He was born March 10,1966 in Natrona Heights, the son of Joseph H. and Beverly A. (Bouch) Johnston.  He worked at Key Bellview near Freeport for many years.  He was an avid outdoors man, enjoying fishing, hunting, camping and bike riding.  Survivors include his siblings, Christine Anderson, of Dayton, Pa., Joseph H. Johnston Jr. (Judy), of Kittanning and Catherine Bloom (Pat), of Butler, Pa.; nieces and nephews, Mellody Anderson (Adam), of Ford City, Dwight Anderson, of Dayton, Amanda Weitzel (Dylan), of Chicora, Patrick Bloom (Mariah), of Kittanning, Jeremy Johnston (Stephanie) of Kittanning and Kenneth Johnston, of Ohio; many step-nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion, his dog "Shotgun".  In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Toni Hilliard Johnston.  Private arrangements are entrusted to Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, Pa.
