Robert A. Sherry, 63, of Templeton, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at his home.
He was born on May 24, 1954, in Ridgway, Pa., to the late Don A. and Margaret (Patterson) Sherry.
He retired from Windstream. Robert attended Harvest Community Church in Kittanning, and was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), and a lifetime member of the Pine Creek Sportsman Club. He loved shooting and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Joyce I. (Jordan) Sherry of Templeton, daughter Mandy (Steve) Cochran of Dayton, son Chad (Lori) Sherry of Templeton, 10 grandchildren: Jenna Cochran, Kayla Grafton, Katie Cochran, Dominik Sherry, Lindsay Cochran,
Camryn Sherry, Bailee Sherry, Adysen Sherry, Elahna Sherry, Fletcher Sherry, brothers Donnie (Kay) Sherry and Willie Sherry, and sisters Carol (Jim) Wall, Jean (Ted) Oertly, Mae (Ralph) Funkhouser, and Susan (Frank) Mierzwa.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home 253 N. Grant Ave. in Kittanning. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service with Pastor Rodney Miller officiating.
