Roberta Jean (Adams) Williamson, 81, of Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on September 26, 1942 in Oakdale, Pa., the daughter of the late Robert Kenneth and Maude (Ewing) Adams. Roberta was a 50-plus year member of First United Methodist Church in Kittanning. She formerly worked as confidential secretary to the Superintendent of Armstrong School District. “Nana”, as she was affectionately known as, loved taking care of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, going out with the girls and she was a member of the Antique Car Club. Roberta leaves behind to forever cherish her memory: her husband, Roy E. Williamson, of Kittanning; son, Kevin L. (Marcia) Williamson, of Kittanning; daughter-in-law, Lora Williamson, of Worthington; 2 cats, Scamper and Rags; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert Evan Williamson and Keith Alan Williamson; 2 brothers, John K. Adams and James Adams; and 3 sisters, Bonnie Adams, Rose Marie Smith and Alice Linn. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, at First United Methodist Church of Kittanning, 301 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, Pa. from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dayton Mix officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
