Rodger Kim Thatch, 68, of Worthington, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Jefferson Hills Hospital.
He was born and raised in Lovell, Wyoming on May 23, 1953 to the late Jack and Kaye (Jamison) Thatch.
He graduated from Lovell High School in 1971. He married Christine Laux on September 1, 1979. He was a maintenance worker for Range Resources until he retired in 2006. He enjoyed reading books on his Kindle, listening to rock and roll music and tickling his “babies,” as he called his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Christine, of 42 years; children, Erin (Adam) Fencil, Jody (Jesica) Thatch, and Lacey (Matthew) Chamberlin; grandchildren, Mariah, Emily, Makayla, Noah, Ava, Abbie and Allie; brothers and sisters, Mary Alice, John, Paul, Judy and David and their families in Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private memorial will be held for family followed by a public celebration of life in spring 2022. His ashes will be scattered at Devil’s Canyon Overlook, Montana.
The F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington is assisting the family with all of their arrangements.
