Roger Allan Crissman, Sr., 72, of Templeton, died on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025 at his home.  He was born January 28, 1953 in Kittanning, the son of the late David and Julia Crissman.  He was a coal miner and a high-lift operator.  He shot pool for Super Shooters Bar and he enjoyed hunting deer from "the palace", fishing and gardening with his brother, Wes, and spending time at Bucktail Camp with his sister, Pat.  

Roger leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his daughters, Kimberly S. (William) Fennell, of Karns City and. Amy S. (Richard) Crissman, of Cowansville; his son, Roger A. (Rebecca) Crissman, of Cowansville; 8 grandchildren: Alecia (John) Fehl, of Butler, Jonathan (Ashley) Fennell, of Boyers, Roger (fiance, Courtney) Crissman, of Butler, Megan (fiance, Jake) Bowser, of Springdale, Jasmine (Sawyer) Reed, of Karns City, Madison Bowser, of Cowansville, Brittanny Crissman, of Cowansville and Brooke Crissman, of Cowansville; 2 great-grandchildren, Amelia and Lily Fehl; sister, Patricia Neese, of Timblin; sister, Janet Smith, of Smicksburg; brother, David "Wes" (Claudia) Crissman, of Templeton; sister, Randa Piper, of Dayton; and sister, Emily (Tom) Davis, of Cowansville.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his baby sister, Ellen; 3 brothers-in-law, Laird, Dwight and Ed; and a niece, Julie.

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA.  Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Pete Sapp officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Creek Baptist Cemetery.
