Roger Thomas Jones, Jr., 61, of Kittanning, Pa. passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at home with family by his side. He was born in Irvington, New Jersey on January 3, 1965, the son of the late Roger Thomas Jones, Sr. and Dorothy Dunham. He was formerly employed as a foreman at a commercial steam cleaning company cleaning restaurants, worked in construction building houses, as a security guard at a camp ground and as a restaurant manager. He attended Living Water Church in Kittanning. Roger enjoyed working out, fishing, swimming, kayaking, traveling, camping, festivals, photography, astronomy, church and listening to K-love radio station. He was very intelligent and enjoyed reading history, science and research on other interests. He always had the answer to your question. Most of all, he loved the beach and coffee. Roger also once got to share the stage with actor Dean Cain as an extra in the film Forgiving God. He was kind hearted and smart with a great sense of humor. He was easy to make friends and will be missed by those whom loved him and missed by his dogs, Oakley and Izzy.
Survivors include his sisters, Helen Jones Will (Rick), of TN and her sons, Michael (Anne) Will, Chris Will and Steven (Stevie) Will, all of TN; sister, Debbie Jones Przybylski, of NJ and her daughter, Nicole, of NJ; brother, Kenny Dorst (Krissy), and their daughters, Brittany, Ka’la and Jami Dorst, all of TN; several great-nieces and nephews; special cousin, best friend and caretaker, Connie Goforth Brumbaugh (Todd); and his friends at Living Water Church and RGS YMCA 10:45 Aqua Class. He was preceded in death by his parents.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
