Roger A. Stivason

     Roger A. Stivason, 73, of Kittanning, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his residence.  He was born November 2, 1947 in Manor Township to the late Harvey and Catherine (Bennett) Stivason.  He worked various jobs in the local area.  Roger was a member of Christ Rupp Lutheran Church in Kittanning Township.  He loved people and enjoyed a good laugh.  There was a never a dull moment when he was present.  He also loved polka dancing. 

     Survivors include his brothers, Darl (Peggy) Stivason, of Worthington, Gary (Linda) Stivason, of Ford City, and Randall (Alexis) Stivason, of Kittanning; sisters, Linda Fries, of Kittanning, Lorraine (Jerry) Trudgen, of Kittanning, and Bonnie (Blaine) Fair, of Kittanning; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, David; and his companion, Tom Walko. 

     Funeral services will be privately held by the family with Rev. Matthew Vatalare officiating.  Burial will be in Christ Rupp Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kittanning Twp.
