Roxann (Hershberger) Chestnut, 78, went “home” to be with her husband Cliff on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at ACMH after a hard fought battle with heart failure, kidney disease, pneumonia and ARDS. She has had many challenges and changes in her life especially since Cliff passed on September 3, 2025. She was currently living at Rivercliff Terrace Personel Care Home.  Roxie is the daughter of Carl and Helen (Jones) Hershberger and was born on November 9, 1947. 

Surviving is her sister Amy (John) Williamson, brothers Gregg (Pam) Hershberger and Scott (Karen) Hershberger and numerous nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces and many, many friends. 

In her more able years, she was known for her brownies and summertime cookies and her need to give things away.

Viewing will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 South McKean St, Kittanning, PA 16201. Rev Jeffery T. Smith from First Baptist Church of Kittanning will officiate. Private burial will be at Bowser Cemetery, Kittanning, PA. 

Roxie loved seeing flowers grow and asked that instead of sending flowers, that you plant some in her memory in your garden to enjoy.
