Ruth Ann (Kirkwood) Bowser

Ruth Ann (Kirkwood) Bowser, 62, of Templeton, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025.  She was born November 23, 1962 in Ford City to the late Donald and Sandra (Brandstetter) Kirkwood.  She enjoyed drawing and art.  She was a loyal Steelers fan.  Most importantly, she loved to see her children succeed.  She enjoyed quality time with her grandchildren.  She was also excited to welcome a new grandchild in 2026.  

She is survived by her significant other, Mark Bowser; daughters, Shani Bowser, of Glen Campbell, Ashley Bowser, of Bellefonte and Courtney Bowser, of Ford City; son, Mark (Courtney) Bowser, of Fairview, Texas; grandsons, Carter and Cayden Tardivo; sister, Cathy (Roger) Renfrew; and brothers, Donnie Kirkwood and Charles Kirkwood.  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Debbie Bowser.  

A private memorial service has been held for family and friends to reflect on the life she has led.
