Ruth Joan Good-Howlett

Ruth Joan (Badger) Good Howlett, 93, of Kittanning, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Rivercliff Terrace, her happy home for the past eight years.  She was born July 15, 1929, in Apollo, to Joseph (Zip) and Ruth (Clark) Badger. 

She graduated from Apollo High School in 1947. She married Clarence (Casey) Good and he preceded her in death. They lived on Pleasantview Drive in Kittanning. She then married Foy (Tennessee) Howlett. Ruth worked at Moonlight Mushrooms in Worthington, for 18 years. She enjoyed fishing, casinos, the beach, friends and family. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen J. Good and Shirley J. Good, of Vowinckel, Pa.; her granddaughter, Jade S. Kamer-Good, of Tennessee; and many friends in the area. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Berton and Wilbur; her sister, Sylvia; her son, Mark D. Good; and her granddaughter, Tawnya L. Good. 

Friends will be received from noon on Saturday, May 6, 2023, until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa.  Interment will be at Tree Trimmer’s Cemetery in Vowinckel, Pa.
