Sally Lehner Atwood, 88, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Kittanning, passed away Saturday November 22, 2025 in McKinney, Texas. She was born August 4, 1937 in Kittanning to the late Thomas J. and Alice (Kerr) Lehner. Sally lived in Kittanning for 81 years before moving to McKinney, Texas. She was a registered nurse and a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning and St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas.
Sally volunteered at Saint Vincent De Paul, and enjoyed shopping, traveling, playing golf, Friday night dinners with friends, and spending time with her family.
Sally is survived by her three daughters Kimberly (Rick) Pelini of McKinney, Texas, Kathy (Ron) Salmon of McKinney, Texas, and Karen (Mike) Angelucci of Augusta, Georgia; grandchildren Greg (Jessica) Pelini of Texas, Josh (Laura) Pelini of Texas, Rebecca (Kenneth) Santibanez of Texas, Andrew (Paula Rincon) Anthony of Texas, D'Nelle (Donivan) Slack of Cranberry Township, and Ashley (Keith) Maraffa of Texas; great-grandchildren Vivian and Lucy Pelini, Olivia Pelini, Adeline and Lily Santibanez, and Sienna, Callan, and Nolan Maraffa; sister-in-laws Penny Lehner of Kittanning and Kathy (Rob) Shick of Kittanning and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Regis H. Atwood; parents Thomas and Alice leaner; sister Kathleen Lehner; brother Thomas Lehner.
Friends will be received on Sunday November 30, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Additional viewing will be held on Monday December 1, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of parting prayers at 9:30 A.M. followed by A Mass of Christian Burial on Monday December 1, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning with The Very Reverend Eric J. Dinga, V.F. as Celebrant. Interment is in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Kittanning.
