Sandra Merlene (Beck) Claypool, 79, of Kittanning, died on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Quality Life Services Sarver.  She was born October 29, 1946 in New Kensington, the daughter of the late Robert Beck and D. Alene Henry.  She attended St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Kittanning and had a love for church..  She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, animals and spending time with family.  Survivors include her children, Jeff (Regina) Claypool, Rhonda Horneman (fiancé, Mike Weber) and Erin (James) Bowser; grandchildren, Rebecca (Mike) Martini, James (Carole) Bowser, Amber Claypool (fiancé, Robbie Snow), Daniel Claypool (fiancé, Justtina), Jessica (Nate) Ballard, Abby (Lucas) Sweeney and Anna (Aaron) Debor; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Jack, Finn, baby Ballard, Ryleigh, Lucas, Hayden, Indigo, Carson and Emma.  In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Claypool; sister, Betty Vogle; and brother, David Beck.  Friends will be received from 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026 until time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning with Rev. Edward Walters officiating.  Interment will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
