Sarah A. "Sally" (Schrecengost) Heberling

Sarah A. “Sally” Heberling, 81, of Kittanning, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at ACMH Hospital. She was born May 7, 1939 in Kittanning to the late James L. and Arvilla G. Schrecengost. Sarah worked at Big River and MTW Sewing Company. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and the Kittanning Eagles. 

She loved to play bingo and talk to her friends, she attended Butler Community College. 

Sarah is survived by her daughter Kimberly L. Heberling and her boyfriend Gerald Sledge of Kittanning; adopted daughter MaryAnn (Joe) Hinderliter of Kittanning; sister Dorothy J. Greenawalt of Dayton; numerous cousins nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother James A. Schrecengost. 

Friends will be received Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning. A private service will be held in the funeral Home with Rev. Colleen McFarland officiating. Interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of the American Diabetes Association.
