Sonja Lee (Toy) Emminger, 83, of Cowansville, passed away peacefully at Kittanning Rehab on December 24, 2024. She was born on January 19, 1941, in Kittanning, daughter of the late William Toy and LaVerne (Johnston) Toy.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Blair Emminger; sisters, Sharon Long, Jill Calhoun, Janie Leslie; and brothers, William Toy and Allen Toy. Sonja is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness.

Sonja was a cherished member of her family and will be remembered for her kind heart and unwavering support of those she loved. Throughout her life, she nurtured many relationships, leaving a lasting impact on her friends and family. While she did not have children of her own, Sonja's devotion to her numerous nieces and nephews was a testament to the love and care she gave so freely.

Friends will be received Saturday, December 28, 2024 from Noon until the time of funeral services at 1:00 PM at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Rd., Cowansville, PA with Pastor Sue Foster officiating.  Interment will be in the Tidal Cemetery.
