Susan (Stouffer) Billman

Our beloved Susan (Stouffer) Billman, 74, of Kittanning, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at St. Margaret’s Hospital after a long battle with sarcoidosis in her lungs.  The good Lord has been with her granting her many miracles along the way.  She was born October 22, 1946 in Kittanning to the late Audley M. and Mary Ann (Stott) Stouffer.  She attended Kittanning High School.  She worked at Five Rubber, the Area Agency on Aging, and also delivered newspapers for the Leader Times.  Susan loved God and life and it showed in everything she did.  She enjoyed doing family history research and loved everything family. She lived in Kittanning for many years before her and her husband, Don, moved to Texas.  They bought an RV and did a lot of traveling, making many friends along the way before moving back to Kittanning in 2016 after 22 years in Texas.  She truly loved being back home in Kittanning.  She enjoyed doing crafts.  She attended the First Baptist Church in Distant, Pa and enjoyed fellowship with everyone.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left behind to cherish her memory includes her loving husband of 32 years, Donald Billman, whom she married on May 20, 1989; her children, Johnny Ray Johnston, of Butler, Pa, Rick Johnston, Terry Johnston, and Blaine Johnston, all of Missouri, and Mary Johnston, of Texas; three step-daughters, Vonda (Jim) Rich, of Virginia, Pam (Tom) Rowan, of Georgia, and Brenda (Mark) Mechling, of Idaho; siblings, Betty Cravenor, James Bowser, Ronald Stouffer, and Terry (Cindy) Stouffer, all of Kittanning, and Joyce (Douglas) Iseman, of Homer City, Pa; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Bowser and Charles Bowser, and three grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa.  Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 21, from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Wattersonville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
