Susan Jean Crissman, 70, of Kittanning, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. She was born March 7, 1954, in Kittanning, to the late Oscar and Josephine Crissman. Susan was formerly employed at Drug Plastics in Kittanning and served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class. She loved spending time with her family and cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie (Matt) Jordan, of Kittanning; step-son, Justin (Renae) Vorpe, of North Apollo; step-daughter, Beth (Ryan) Lanious, of Lower Burrell; grandchildren: Dominic Grossbauer, Josephine Grossbauer, Holdyn Vorpe, Konor Vorpe, Hendrix Vorpe, Mason Lanious, Collin Lanious and Alayna Lanious; great-granddaughter, Lilith Jordan; brothers: Keith (Barb) Crissman, Kevin (Dana) Crissman, George (Cheryl) Crissman and James (Anna) Crissman; sister, Sandra Cox; sister-in-law, Marcia (Robert) Knapp; and numerous nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her partner, Thomas Vorpe; her parents; sister, Annabelle Lasher; and brothers-in-law, Thomas Cox and Walter Lasher.
Friends and family will be received from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
