Thelma L. (Young) Gould, 97, of Kittanning, passed away Tuesday May 13, 2026 at Kittanning health and Rehab. She was born April 16, 1929 in New Bethlehem to the late Aaron and Ernestine (Bodenhorn) Young. Thelma was a member of Grace Brethren Church in West Kittanning. She enjoyed walking with her friends. Thelma loved planting flowers and spending time with family. She volunteered at ACMH Hospital in the gift shop.

She is survived by a daughter Brenda (Tom) Tarr of Kittanning and a son Jim (Ruthie) Gould of Lynchburg, Virginia; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. 

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents Aaron ad Ernestine Young; husband James A. Gould; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends will be received on Tuesday May 19, 2026 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Edwards officiating. Interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Thelma's honor to the Grace Brethren Church, 215 Arthur Street, Kittanning, PA 16201.
