Theodore “Ted” M. Stover, 73, of Worthington, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in ACMH Hospital. He was born on Nov. 7, 1949, in Templeton, to the late Martin Sherwood and Florence Melda (Edwards) Stover. Ted was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran serving during Vietnam. He enjoyed collecting cars and clocks, feeding birds, his dog Dillion, watching movies and listening to music.
Left behind to forever cherish Ted’s memory are his daughters, Jill (Mark) Palmer, of Worthington, and Tracey (Joe) Archibald, of Walkchalk; grandsons, Cody (Jessica) Palmer, of Pittsburgh, and Skyler (Lauren) Archibald, of Jacksonville, Fla.; granddaughters, Tianna Archibald, of Worthington, and Shauna Archibald, of Walkchalk; great-granddaughter, Alaina Baker, of Walkchalk; great-grandson, Stetson Hartman, of Worthington; and a sister, Florence Dinger, of Dayton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah (Booher) Stover; brother, Frank Stover; and sisters, Mary Stover-Ball and Frances Stover-Miller.
Family and friends of Ted Stover will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, Pa. 16262. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. on Monday March 20, 2023, in the funeral home, until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rodney Miller officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
