Thomas Harry Burkett

Thomas Harry Burkett, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 29, 2025 at ACMH. He was born September 16, 1960 in Kittanning to the late Paul A. and Mary E. (Johns) Burkett Sr. Thomas grew up in the Shay area of Kittanning Township and graduated from Elderton High School, he attended Duff's Business School in Pittsburgh. He lived in Ravenel, South Carolina for 25 years where he worked as a convenience store manager. 

Tom left behind a legacy as sweet as the cakes he made. He was known for his cooking and baking. A man of many talents- he loved canning, and being with his family. His favorite was holiday gatherings. He had a love for dogs, leaving behind his chihuahua Lilly. He will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones.

He is survived by his brother Floyd Larry Burkett and his wife Robin; nephews David Crawford and his wife Megan, Joshua Crawford, and Andrew Burkett; niece Katelyn Johnson and her husband Joshua; great-nephews Degan Paul Crawford and Lucas Paul Johnson.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Paul Arthur Burkett and Lloyd Gary Burkett; sister Karen Iren Burkett. 

There are no services to be held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
