Thomas Lynch McLaughlin, 92, of Monroeville, formerly of Kittanning, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital, UPMC McKeesport. He was born May 8, 1933 in Oil City, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald and Catherine (Lynch) McLaughlin. Thomas lived in the Kittanning area for 51 years. He was a Chiropractor. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Korean War after being drafted. He was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning and Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Murrysville, Pa. He also belonged to the Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus and the Elks. He loved spending time with family and watching all sports. Left behind to forever cherish his memory includes his daughter, Susan (Paul) Mellon; son, Thomas P. (Jennifer) McLaughlin; daughter, Jane (Ken) Eckman; daughter, Karen (Harvey) Melfi; son, John McLaughlin; son, Jim (Lisa) McLaughlin; daughter, Cheryl McLaughlin; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Janice McLaughlin, and sister, Jean Miller of Long Island, New York. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 101 W. High St., Kittanning, Pa. 16201 with The Very Reverend Eric J. Dinga, V.F. as celebrant. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa. Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
