Thomas Dale Rumbarger

Thomas Dale "Rummy" Rumbarger, age 87 of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, E. Franklin Twp, PA.  He was born March 10, 1936 in Manor Twp, PA to Dale K. and Mildred (Jones) Rumbarger.  He married Louise Lolly on June 23, 1962, in Iselin, New Jersey.  Tom was employed by Baxter Healthcare Corporation of Springfield, New Jersey with 35 years of service. He was a warehouse associate for 15 years. Tom was promoted to warehouse supervisor. He held this position for 20 years.  A Navy veteran with 6 years of service, two of those years he was stationed in Japan for special duty.  He was a former member of the Kittanning Eagles and Kittanning Men's Club, and he enjoyed spending time with his friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, which included his great-great nieces Sydney and Sadie Miklos.  A former Iselin, New Jersey resident, Tom and his wife, Louise, enjoyed spending time at the casinos on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Their favorite casinos were Resorts and Caesar's Palace. He could easily be found at his favorite game, the craps table.  Tom also enjoyed playing poker.  He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Molly (John) Palermo of Kittanning, who helped with his care for the past several years.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louise Lolly of 35 yrs; brothers: Paul, Kenneth and Harold; and sister, Mona Jean Maternick.  Also, his special friend, Millie Odrey.  At Tom's request, there will be no public visitation and funeral services and interment will be privately held.
