Thomas Charles Thomas, Jr., 84, of Kittanning passed away on January 7, 2025 at ACMH. He was born on January 27, 1940 to T. Charles (Chappie) Thomas and Nellie (Moore) Thomas. Tom lived in the Kittanning area his entire life and was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Kittanning High School, class of 1957. Tom served in the Army National Guard and worked at Kittanning Telephone Co., now Windstream, for 42 years. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Scaife) Thomas whom he married in 1959 and shared 65 years together. Tom is also survived by his brother, Jack R. Thomas and wife, Fran, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and his sister, Violet Wolff, of Millersburg, Ohio as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Eugene H. Thomas and sister, Betty J. Spencer.
Friends will be received on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 334 Arch St., Kittanning, Pa. with Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Tom’s honor to Orphans of the Storm, P.O. Box 838, Kittanning, PA 16201, First Baptist Church, 334 Arch St., Kittanning or to a charity of your choice.
