Timothy Leroy Bargerstock, 63, of Kittanning, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born July 24, 1956 in Kittanning to the late Harland and Veda (DeLauderanty) Bargerstock. He graduated from East Brady High School, class of 1974, where he was a 3 year letterman in football. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Tim was a self-employed contractor. He also was a former police officer in Cowanshannock Township and Elderton Boro. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and elder, was the assistant organist, and was the youngest church member ever to sit on the church council. He was a life member of DAV. Tim was a good handyman willing to help anyone. He loved all sports and hunting, especially hunting deer. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Left behind to cherish his memory includes his son, Timothy M. Bargerstock; grandsons, Dylan Bargerstock, Cody Bargerstock, and Adam Beresnyak; brother, Randy (Connie) Bargerstock; and nephews, Brent and Randy Bargerstock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Bargerstock & Mark Bargerstock; and sister, Kathy Bargerstock. Friends will be received on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at St Luke’s United Church of Christ, 333 N. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa 16201 with the Rev. Edward Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Cowansville Cemetery.
