It is with a deep sadness that we share the news of Tina Neal of Kittanning, leaving our world Saturday July 29th 2023. We hold hope in our hearts that she found her way to a peaceful place away from the struggles she endured for a large portion of her life.
She was a woman of many talents and interests all of which being as artistic, and as whimsically eccentric as she was. She had many friends and people who loved her, and she could always light up the room with her immense pleasure in being who she was no matter the response it would get. There is no doubt that so many people will miss hearing her quick-witted jokes and even quicker laugh in response to her own joke.
Tina loved making things beautiful. She was an artist of many forms be that drawing and painting, photography, organizing events for church, celebrations and holidays or simply just making day-to-day life more enjoyable and vibrant. She had a green thumb of which she loved being able to share cuttings of plants with her children and friends. Cooking was even an art to her. She didn't just make dinner she created feasts worthy of a king all just to see the joy and excitement of those who shared her table. She took on the holidays with a fierce energy in the kitchen and an ability to give more than she had no matter what.
She had a knack for balancing the dark and the light life has to offer. A true horrorphile eager to get her hands on old eerie books, and always excited to find new horror movies or psychological thrillers. She was a thrill-seeker. Always finding ways to indulge an adrenaline rush, especially riding motorcycles. Being the wild card she was made her a person that attracted so many people who needed someone who would not pass judgment on them. She was so accepting of everyone in all walks of life. She was a magnet for the people in need of a shoulder to cry on. To have been a part of her life for however long for whatever reason left you with the strength to carry on through life even when you didn't feel you possessed such strength.
Tina is survived by her four children Carissa Neal, Kelsey Neal, Dyllon Neal, and Kylie Rizzardo all of which she passed on her passion of self-expression through art and the bravery to be unique and authentic individuals. As well as her five beautiful grandchildren Aidan McAnulty, Marlee Giron, Avery Janda, Eve Janda, and Draevyn Janda. She was an amazing grandmother with so much unconditional love for her grandchildren. Our hearts feel heavy having to say our goodbyes much too early but our memories will be forever treasured.
