Toby Marie Atwood

Toby Marie Atwood, 21, of Kittanning, passed away Sunday July 20, 2025 in Erie. She was born June 25, 2004 in Pittsburgh to Joseph Atwood Jr. and Brandi (Ogden) Atwood. Toby was an auditor and accountant, and a bartender at the Wick City Saloon.

Toby was the President of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority - the Thiel College Chapter. She held a 4.0 grade average and was ranked number one in her class. Toby was also the captain of the Thiel College Tennis Team, President of Student Athletics. She enjoyed working out at the gym and running, she was the best candy salad maker. Toby loved Chipotle and Toby Keith. 

Toby was the best daughter, sister, and friend. She had the brightest light. Toby was successful in everything she did, the world was a better place with her in it. She was beautiful, funny, smart, strong, and a beautiful human being, she will never be forgotten. She will be missed every single day by her family. Toby was the most amazing person and was taken too soon.

She is survived by her mother and father Brandi (Ogden) Atwood and Joseph Atwood Jr. both of Kittanning; brother Jaret Atwood and his fiancé Heidi Plant of Vandergrift; brother Ogden Atwood of Kittanning; best friend Ava Morelli of Kittanning; boat captain Les Ruffaner of Kittanning; grandfather John Ogden of Kittanning; grandmother Judy Atwood of Kittanning; numerous aunt, uncles, and cousins. 

Toby was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Joseph Atwood Sr. and her maternal grandmother and grandfather Jerry and Debbie Kleinhampl. 

Friends will be received on Thursday July 24, 2025 and Friday July 25, 2025 at the Center Hill Covenant Brethren Church Fellowship Hall (across the road from the church) 2039 Freeport Road, Kittanning, PA 16201 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. both days. A funeral service will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday July 26, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. AddItional visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment is in West Glade Run Cemetery.
